3 days, 2 nights – Sothern Circuit – Selous, Fly In from Dar
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
Flight from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve. After arrival you will be picked up by your guide and taken to your lodge where you meet the lodge manager and discuss your personal program. After lunch you start your activitie around Selous Game Reserve.
Overnight at Kinga Lodge. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 2: Selous Game Reserve
Full day of game drives at Selous Game Reserve named after the explorer Frederick Selous. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland.
The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. Activities are game drives and a walking safari. Together with an armed ranger you explore the bush by walk. A boat trip to Rufiji River where crocodiles, hippos and grazing game can be seen is included
Overnight at Kinga Lodge. All meals included.
Day 3: Selous – Dar es Salaam
After a leisure breakfast your guide will transfer you to the airstrip to catch your flight and return to Dar Es Salaam with arrival late afternoon/early evening. Breakfast and lunchbox included.
End of service.
